Congrats Alan!


Congratulations to 2008 ACS Graduate Alan Busenitz.  Alan was recently drafted to the Los Angeles Anaheim Angels Baseball Team. He is only the second ACS athlete to be drafted. The first is a current parent Drew Casto who was drafted in 1998.

Teacher Feature

For the next few weeks’ teacher feature, we would like to introduce you to Mrs. Susan Cape and Mrs. Donna Palmer.

Mrs. Susan Cape, one of our K5 teachers has three children and enjoys shopping, movies and drinking coffee. Her favorite book is Pilgrim’s Progress and she enjoys dinner at Longhorn’s!

Mrs. Donna Palmer, one of our 5th grade teachers has 5 children one of whom just married in March. She enjoys antiquing, watching Humming birds and the book Jane Eyre. Her favorite drink is Tomato Juice. Mrs. Palmer is a graduate of ACS and has taught at ACS for six years.

May 11 - Varsity Girls Track - Placed 2nd at the State Track meet

May 4 - Varsity Boys Track - Placed 1st at the State Track meet with 122 points.

May 2 - Golf Update - Boys and Girls High School Golf Teams made it to sectionals, to be played on Monday May 6th in Augusta, Ga. A top four finish will send them to the State Tournament on May 20th in Savannah, Georgia

April 30 - MS Baseball - ACS defeated Winder Diamond Dogs 17-7

April 27 - MS Baseball - Doubleheader against Bethlehem Christian.  ACS lost the first game 4-5.  ACS won the second game 7-1.

April 26 - MS Baseball - Doubleheader against Loganville Christian.  ACS lost both games 2-5 and 3-5.

April 23 - MS Baseball - ACS defeated by Loganville Christian 0-10

April 23 - Varsity Baseball - defeated Pinecrest Academy

April 20 - MS Baseball - Double header against Bethlehem Christian Lost the first one 4 - 1. Won the second one 14 - 7.

April 20 - Varsity Boys and Girls Track teams placed 1st in Region

Bible Quiz News

Congrats to the ACS Bible Quiz team for winning the Kickoff Tournament in Orlando this weekend. Katey Davis, Toni Davis, and Mariah Cloud led their team to victory. Dalton Croy and Calvin Pettyjohn joined Katey as "Top 10" Quizzers at the tournament.
