Book Fair

Scholastic Book Fair begins Monday, April 28 and will continue through Friday, May 1.
7:30 - 4:30 daily

Family night is Tues, April 29 at 6:45-8pm in time for the Big River ticketed Dress Rehearsal. Susan Nees, author of the "Super Duper Royal Deluxe" chapter book series will be here on Thursday to sign books geared for age 1st-3rd graders. All four books will be available, including the newly released title "Field Trip." Please check in at the front office.

Parent & Grandparent Visitation

We would like to extend a special invitation to parents and grandparents.

  • Parents - Wednesday, April 30, 9:00 - 10:30.
  • Grandparents - Thursday, May 1 for grades K3-2, and Friday, May 2 for grades 3-12, from 9:00 - 10:30.

Please check in at the front office.

Spring Musical

ACS Fine Arts Department presents Big River, a musical telling of the story of Huck Finn. 
Performance nights are:  Tuesday, April 29 "Ticketed" Dress Rehearsal, 8:00 pm
Friday, May 2, 8:00 pm  &  Saturday, May 3, 8:00 pm

Admission for Tuesday Dress Rehearsal $ 5 per ticket
Admission for Friday and Saturday - $ 15 adult, $ 12 senior adult, $ 10 student
Immediate Family Admission $ 30

April 21 - Varsity Girls Tennis team defeated Lakeview Academy

April 19 - Varsity Girls & Boys Track team placed 1st at Region meet

April 17 - Varsity Baseball team defeated Towns Co 7-0 to move to 19-2 and 12-2 in region play.

April 16 - Varsity Baseball team defeated Hebron Christian 16-5 in region play.

April 16 - Soccer team defeated Aquinas 2-1

April 15 - Golf team finished the regular season with an 11-1 record following win over Cedar Shoals at the Athens Country Club. The Eagles will now participate in the GHSA Area 2 tournament on Monday, April 21.

April 15 - Varsity Boys Soccer team defeated Franklin County High School 5-2

April 12 - Varsity Baseball team lost to Hebron Christian 5-2

April 11 - Golf team defeated Commerce by a score of 159-196

April 10 - JV soccer teams scored a double header victory over East Jackson in their final matches of the season.

April 10 - Girls Tennis team defeated Tallulah Falls 4-1. Jilly Walters and Morgan Cowart won in the singles, Kiara Barron and Maddie Pham and Brittany Huffer and Hannah Pressey won in the doubles.

April 10 - Golf team lost a close match by two strokes 173-175 to Franklin County.

April 10 - Varsity Baseball team defeated Pinecrest Academy.

April 10 - Middle School Baseball team defeated Clarke Central  6-2. 

April 8 - Varsity Soccer team had a great victory over Athens Academy 4-1.

April 8 - Tennis teams won over George Walton.  Boys 3-2.  Girls 4-1.

April 4 - Varsity Baseball - defeated Prince Avenue 6-1

April 4 - MS Girls Track - placed 1st at meet

April 4 - Golf team - improved to 9-0 after defeating Prince Avenue 168-165

April 3 - Varsity Baseball - defeated Prince Avenue 18-4

April 3 - Varsity Soccer - lost a heartbreaker over Aquinas in overtime 2-3

April 3 - Varsity Girls Track - won at the City Meet by 3 points.  Varsity Boys track lost by 3 1/2 points.

April 2 - Golf team defeated Prince Avenue 167-189. 

March 25 - Varsity Baseball team defeated Commerce in 5 innings 15-1.

March 19 - Varsity Baseball - ACS moves to 10-0 after a 15-3 win over Athens Academy.

March 14 -- Varsity Baseball team defeated Athens Academy 7-6 to up their record to 9-0 and 2-0 in region play.
