Art Classes

All students currently enrolled in K-5 - 7th grade are eligible.  Mrs. Salie has taught art for over 20 years and is a freelance illustrator when not in the classroom.  Her students will study drawing and painting, ceramics, sculpture, printing and textiles in small groups from their grade level.  Classes will meet once a week for the entire year for $35/month, supplies included.  Space is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis.  If interested, please contact the front office for registration information (706-549-7586).

Piano Instruction

Piano lessons are given by Mrs Troutner as part of Lenox Piano Studio at ACS.  Mrs. Troutner earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in piano performance and has nearly 10 years experience teaching piano to beginning through early advanced students.  Each year Mrs Troutner’s students have the opportunity  to perform in recitals and other music competitions.  Lessons are available for 2nd - 12th grades.  Lessons are given during weekly 30 minute sessions during non-core class time.  Fees are $75/month.  Space is limited.  Please contact the front office for registration information (706-549-7586).
