Kindergarten

Kindergarten is a very important time in the life of each child. The students at ACS learn the phonetic method of reading, along with math, writing, and many other skills. This enjoyable learning program is designed to provide your child with a good educational foundation. The students also enjoy physical education, art, and music.

Elementary

Great emphasis on the fundamentals of education continues in the ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. Homework, report cards, concerned teachers, and informed parents are the rule and not the exception.

High School

Athens Christian prepares the high school student for college or career. In addition to Advanced Placement courses, a wide variety of sports, music, drama, speech and extra-curricular activities are provided.  Download Courses of Study here.

"The Happy Learning Place"

The graduates of ACS (over 1,000) are well prepared, and they have succeeded in their chosen fields. The faculty, many of whom hold Master’s Degrees, is dedicated to high academic standards as well as individual attention to the needs of each student. ACS IS A COLLEGE PREPARATORY SCHOOL accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission; however, the school also offers general courses to the high school student body. Teachers consistently lead their students to average 2 years above national averages on the Stanford Achievement Tests. Advanced Placement courses are offered in U.S. History, U.S. Government, and English.

ACS is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission for grades 7-12.  ACS is a member of the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) and the Georgia Association of Christian Schools (GACS).
