2/8/17 - 5th grade basketball B team had a tough loss to Clarke Barrow Gold. JD Garland made two three pointers and a free throw while Jeremiah Rivera had seven points which also included one three pointer. Congrats to the whole team on a great season. Luke White, Jeremiah Rivera and Benson Bailey will represent this team at all star games next weekend while Jeremiah Rivera and Zach Rivera will compete in the three point shooting competition.

1/30/17 - Congratulations to the 5th grade girls basketball team! They played the best game of their season. The referee said after the game, “Everyone in the stands tonight saw your hearts!” “Your coaches and teachers are very proud of you 5th grade Lady Eagles!"

1/28/17 - 3rd/4th grade girls basketball team had two great games this weekend! They tied their first game in overtime 16-16; with 3 seconds remaining, Ellianna Christian made the shot to tie the game. Then the lady Eagles defeated Athens Academy 12-9 in their first game of the play-offs, Addison Naylor led the team with 7 points, Ellianna Christian with 4 points, and Presley Hembree with 1 point. They will continue play-offs on Thursday. All 13 athletes have worked very hard this season, many playing basketball for the first time, and we wish them the best as they continue playoffs and possible Championship game on Friday.

1/13/17 - 3rd/4th grade Girls Basketball team defeated Athens Academy 8-7.

12/2/16  -  3rd/4th grade girls basketball team defeated St. Joseph’s, 20-17. Presley Hembree had 14 points, Sage Drake with 4 points, and Mackenzie Cress with 2 points. Very proud of all the girls!
