Strength & Conditioning

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Strength and Conditioning Staff at Athens Christian School is to provide each student athlete with the most up to date and researched based speed, strength, agility, and conditioning program that will allow our athletes to compete at their highest level physically as well as mentally. We believe in the pursuit of excellence in our student athletes as well as ourselves. It is our goal to provide every athlete with the proper training techniques, nutritional information, and motivation to achieve their greatest potential.

Our entire ACS Athletic Department endorses total body strength training through Olympic Weight Training and the NIKE SPARQ Training Model. SPARQ (Strength, Power, Agility, Reaction, and Quickness).

The entire ACS Athletic Department also endorses the Six Levels of Personal Fitness. Our Strength and Conditioning Courses all will stress muscular strength, muscular flexibility, muscular endurance, body composition, cardio vascular endurance, and nutrition.
